Target Surveying uses digital imaging to produce a 2d image and can measure a X,Y,Z co-ordinate at key locations on the image (ie; fitting or flange).  This can be done at a safe working distance.  All Target Surveying  field employees are OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 certified.
